Thank you everyone. Keep the prayers coming. Yestersat was extremely heavy. Jeff, Ronda, and I were in the Hunt area and drove by Mystic Campgrounds. I cannot put in words the devastation the flood created. Mangled cars, destroyed homes, clothing, bedding, parts of cars, kayaks, etc hanging 35ft in the trees. In this area the water sweeled more than 40 feet high and 200 yards above normal levels.

We were able to spend time with search teams, a gentleman who lost his next door neighbor and actual found 4 souls the next day by a river property he owns. A cadaver canine team, a women who is in the midst of demolishing the towns general store which is also the towns hub. A team of 30+ Samaritan’s Purse volunteers. A team working with FEMA assigned to designate which trees needed to be removed. A local team of 8 who were working on power lines. A volunteer restauranteur, cooking 400 bbq meals. Another group called 8 Days of Service also cooking.

Today BTM has been invited to return to the area and cook on-site by the owner of the general store.
